The
Principles of the League of Women Voters are “concepts of government”
to which every League subscribes. The local, state and national
Leagues use them along with their own League's Program Issue Positions
to advocate at their given level of government. (e.g. local Leagues at
the city council or county commission, state Leagues at the state
legislature, and the national League at the U.S. Congress). Learn more about the League Principles, their origins, and significance.
